On the day

Your evening, hour by hour.

Pickup runs 2:30–3:30 PM depending on your hotel zone. Times below assume a 3 PM pickup; winter sunsets shift it about 30 minutes earlier.

  1. Hotel pickup

    Your driver meets you at reception in a Land Cruiser, quick safety brief, then about 45 minutes to the desert.

  2. Dune bashing

    Tyres down, seatbelts on. The longer 25–30 minute route over the high dunes of Lehbab.

  3. Sandboarding + sunset photos

    Stop on the highest dune for sandboarding and golden-hour photos.

  4. Arrive at the Bedouin camp

    Arabic coffee and dates on arrival, then your seats in the front majlis rows by the stage.

  5. Camel ride + henna

    Short camel ride around the camp. Henna for ladies.

  6. BBQ dinner

    Premium BBQ with a live grill station, Arabic and international dishes, veg options.

  7. Live shows

    Tanoura, two belly dance sets and the fire show, watched from the front rows.

  8. Free time under the stars

    Coffee refills and a quiet desert sky before the drive back.

What to wear
  • Light, comfortable clothes. Cotton works best.
  • Closed shoes for sandboarding; the sand gets hot.
  • Modest layers, the camp is family-friendly.
  • Sunglasses for the dune drive.
  • A light jacket from November to March.
What to bring
  • Phone or camera, the light out there is unreal.
  • A small bag for valuables.
  • Cash or card for extras and the payment on the day.
Who it’s for

Good for first-timers, friends and families. Dune bashing isn’t recommended if you’re pregnant, have back or neck problems, or for kids under 3 on a lap. Tell your driver and he’ll keep it gentle, or skip it.

Payment and cancellation

Nothing to pay when you book. Pay your driver on the day, cash or card (card +5%). Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.

What do I get over Standard?

Same pickup, camp and shows. Premium adds a longer 25–30 minute high-dune drive (Standard does a shorter loop), front-row majlis seating by the stage, and the fuller BBQ with a live grill. The difference is AED 40 per person.

What does priority majlis seating mean?

The camp has cushioned majlis seating in rows around the stage. Premium guests sit in the first one or two rows, closest to the Tanoura, belly dance and fire show. Worth it if you’re with kids or want good videos of the shows.

Is the 4x4 private, or shared with strangers?

On Sharing (AED 139 per person) the Land Cruiser may pick up 2–3 other guests heading to the same camp, straight from their hotels with no bus stops. On Private (AED 819 per car) the car is yours, up to 6 guests, and you choose the pickup time within a 30-minute window.

Is quad biking included?

No, quad bike and dune buggy aren’t included in any package. Add a 30-minute quad as a combo when you book, or ask us on WhatsApp for buggy prices.

Can I add extras on the day?

Yes. Quad bike, buggy and drinks at the camp can all be added on the day, cash or card. In peak season (November to February) we recommend booking the quad in advance.

Do children pay the same as adults?

Kids under 3 are free and ride on a parent’s lap. From age 3 they pay the adult price (AED 139 on Sharing) and count toward the 6 seats on Private.

How far ahead should I book?

April to October, 1–2 days ahead is usually fine. November to March, especially weekends, book 4–7 days ahead; Premium fills faster than Standard because front-row seats are limited. Same-day is sometimes possible, message us first.

What if there’s a sandstorm or rain?

It’s rare, a few days a year. If it isn’t safe to go into the dunes we reschedule for free, or run the camp evening without dune bashing if you prefer. We never go out when it’s unsafe.
