On the day

Your morning, hour by hour.

Times move about 15 minutes with traffic and how long you stay at each stop. Your driver confirms pickup on WhatsApp the night before.

  1. Hotel pickup

    Your driver meets you in the lobby with a Land Cruiser or Patrol, cold water and a quick brief.

  2. Arrive at Lehbab

    About 45 minutes out of the city. Tyres down for the sand, quick safety brief.

  3. Dune bashing

    45–60 minutes in the red dunes. Tell your driver if you want it gentle or wild.

  4. Sandboarding

    Boards out on a smooth high dune. Most guests do 4–5 runs.

  5. Photo stop + Arabic coffee

    15–20 minutes on a scenic dune with coffee and fresh dates.

  6. Camel ride

    5–10 minutes, kid-friendly, handlers walk alongside.

  7. Free time

    Relax, or add a quad, buggy or falcon photo, paid at the dunes.

  8. Back at your hotel

    Pay your driver, cash or card. The afternoon is yours.

What to wear
  • Light, comfortable clothes. Cotton works best.
  • Closed shoes; the sand gets everywhere.
  • Sunglasses for the dune drive.
  • A light layer from November to March.
  • Skip white clothes and nice sandals.

Who it’s for

Couples, friends and families. Dune bashing is fine for most kids from about 5; for younger ones the driver keeps it gentle. It isn’t recommended if you’re pregnant or have back or neck problems. Tell your driver and he’ll go easy, or skip it.

Payment and cancellation

Nothing to pay when you book. Pay your driver after the tour, cash or card (card +5%). Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.

Is the car price really the total?

Yes. AED 549 covers the whole car, up to 6 guests: pickup, drop-off, dune bashing, sandboarding, the photo stop, camel ride, Arabic coffee, dates and water. No service charge, no VAT on top, no fuel surcharge. Quad, buggy and falcon photos are optional and paid to the operator at the dunes. We don’t mark them up.

Is it really private?

Yes. Your car, your driver, just your group. There’s no camp on the short tours and we never combine bookings, so you don’t share with anyone you didn’t bring.

Do kids pay?

Kids under 3 ride free on a lap and don’t count toward the 6 seats. Everyone 3 and older takes a seat, but the price stays AED 549 for the car whether it’s adults or kids. Dune bashing is fine from about age 5; for younger kids the driver keeps it gentle.

Morning or evening, which should I pick?

Morning is cooler, private and done by noon, with no camp. The evening safari adds the camp, BBQ dinner and live shows, and for small groups it’s cheaper per person (AED 99 per person on Standard, shared car).

When will I be back at the hotel?

Around 12 PM, give or take 15 minutes for traffic. The rest of the day is yours.

We’re more than 6. Can we book 2 cars?

Yes, AED 549 per car. The cars drive the same route together. Message us on WhatsApp for 3 or more cars and we’ll quote a group price.

How far ahead should I book?

A day ahead is usually fine. We can often take next-morning bookings until 8 PM the night before, message us on WhatsApp.

What if there’s a sandstorm or rain?

It’s rare, a few days a year. If it isn’t safe, your driver calls it by 6 AM and we reschedule for free, or cancel at no cost if you can’t move the date.
