Cancellation Policy

The short version

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour. No advance payment is taken, so there is nothing to refund — simply let us know and we will cancel the booking.

How to cancel or reschedule

Message us on WhatsApp at +971 55 944 5338 or email info@dubaidesertventures.com with your booking reference and name.

WhatsApp is fastest, and we will confirm the cancellation back to you. Please treat a booking as active until you receive that confirmation.

Cancelling

• More than 24 hours before your tour — cancel free of charge, with nothing to pay.
• Less than 24 hours before your tour — please still tell us as soon as you can. Because seats, vehicles and camp places are held for you, late cancellations affect other guests. Any charge that may apply to a late cancellation will be made clear to you at the time.
• No-show — if we cannot reach you at the pickup point during your confirmed window and you have not contacted us, the booking is treated as a no-show.

Rescheduling

If your plans change, rescheduling is usually easier than cancelling. Contact us at least 24 hours before your tour and we will move you to another available date at no extra cost, subject to availability and any seasonal price difference.

If we cancel

Occasionally we have to cancel or change a tour. This is almost always for safety, and the most common reasons are severe weather, sandstorms, unsafe dune conditions or a vehicle issue.

Where we cancel:

• We will contact you as early as we can.
• You can reschedule to another date at no extra cost, or cancel with nothing to pay.
• If you have already paid for any part of the tour, that amount is refunded in full.

Changes on the day

Desert conditions can change quickly. For safety we may adjust a route, shorten an activity, or swap the order of activities. Where we can still deliver the substance of your tour, it is not treated as a cancellation. If an included activity cannot go ahead at all, we will either substitute it with an alternative or agree an appropriate adjustment with you.

Guests who cannot take part

Some activities are not suitable for pregnant women, or for guests with back, neck, heart or similar conditions, and minimum ages apply. Please check the tour page and tell us about any concerns when you book.

If a guest is unable to take part on the day for a reason we could not have known about in advance, please speak to your guide, who will do what they reasonably can. Where a guest is refused participation for safety reasons set out in our Terms & Conditions — for example being under the influence of alcohol — no refund is due.

Group bookings

Cancellation terms for large groups and private events may differ from those above, because costs for these are committed in advance. Any different terms are confirmed to you in writing at the time of booking.
