Who we are

This website is operated by DANI ADANI TOURISM GUIDANCE SERVICES CO., trading as Dubai Desert Ventures (“DDV”, “we”, “us”), a tour operator licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, based at Tamani Art Building, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you make a booking request through our website, we ask for:

• Your full name
• Your WhatsApp or phone number
• Your email address
• Your preferred tour date and the number of guests
• Your pickup location, where the tour includes hotel pickup
• Any notes or special requests you choose to share

We ask for this because we cannot confirm or operate a booking without it. We do not collect payment card details on this website — tours are paid on the day.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics and Google Ads.

How we use your information

• To confirm and operate your booking — contacting you by WhatsApp, phone or email to confirm details, arrange pickup and handle changes.
• To provide the tour safely — sharing necessary details with the guides and drivers operating your specific tour.
• To respond to enquiries you send us.
• To improve our website and services — understanding which pages and tours people are interested in.
• To meet legal and licensing obligations as a DET-licensed operator.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only where it is necessary:

• Our own guides, drivers and camp staff, so they can deliver your tour.
• Service providers who run our systems — website hosting, email delivery and analytics providers.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

How long we keep your information

We keep booking records for as long as needed to operate the tour, handle any follow-up, and meet our legal, tax and licensing obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for a shorter period. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
• Stop sending you marketing messages

To make any of these requests, email info@dubaidesertventures.com or message us on WhatsApp at +971 55 944 5338. We will respond as quickly as we can.

If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, you also have the right to object to certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep the site working properly, to understand how visitors use it, and to measure the performance of our advertising. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

Children

Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Bookings involving children are made by an accompanying adult, who provides the details.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us, including secure hosting and restricted access to booking records. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to limit who can see it.
